A Diamond of Consequences!
Chapter Sixty Three
Curled up on
the love seat by the window, Priya was indulging in a languorous Sunday morning
blissfully lying on the seat absorbing the sunshine filtering through the clear
glass of the bedroom window. The
atmosphere was relaxed and easy while Ram casually sat at the round table reading
the Sunday morning newspaper and acquainting himself with the news making headlines
of the week. The rich aroma of coffee
could not be missed as he sipped on a strong cup of thick black liquid dozed
with a dollop of milk, It was a peaceful morning; the solitude was calming and idyllic
as they both recovered from a long romantic night of loving. Half reading through the paper, he closed it
and set it aside as he leaned back on the sturdy chair and stretched his arms
to loosen up his aching muscles. His eyes were drawn to his sleeping beauty
lying there peacefully; he could not stop admiring the serenity on her face and
the joy that he found in her brought such immense happiness to him, for daily he
was thankful that she was the woman for him, the one person who held his heart
with so much love. With her eyes closed
enjoying the sun she was unaware of the mushy scrutiny that was taking place
and with a devilish grin, he woke up from his chair and went to join in as he lay
down next to her for some tender loving care that just seemed ideal. Feeling his presence she moved her body slightly
to give him some space as he wrapped his arms around her so that she could comfortably
curl up against him. You are very quiet Mrs.
Kapoor what are you thinking? Nothing
she softly replied, I am just tired. Is
there a reason why you are tired, he teased her? She opened her eyes to look at his naughty smile;
I think you very well know the reason she told him. He rubbed his chin against her skin and
whispered in her ear, please do enlighten me?
Oh please stop acting all so naïve, she said. He chuckled as he moved his inquisitive hand
inside the silk wrap of her gown and with his fingers he trailed his way to her
beautifully formed breasts, are you complaining Mrs. Kapoor, he asked her?
Enjoying the
feel of him touching her she ignored his question and seductively moved her
body against him as she intimately slid her leg in between his; they were a
perfect fit together, cozy and snug. Slightly
lifting her face up to gaze up at him; he could not help but take advantage of
the moment as he touched his lips to hers, and she was intoxicated by the taste
of coffee on him and deepened the kiss with an arousing flame of passion. Finally she pulled away, leaving him to rub
his roughened beard against the smoothness of her soft cheeks. Ouch Ram that hurts she moaned at him, what hurts
he asked as he picked up his head to look at her? Your beard she complained, please you have to
shave it off today, and in fact right now she ordered him. He laughed at her dominating control over him,
I am not laughing she threatened, do you know how bruised my skin is she asked? oh my poor baby he teased against her ear,
can I make it better he offered but with sneaky intentions he ended up rubbing
his cheeks against her skin and her neck making her squeal from the scratchy
touch he was inflicting on her and no doubt he was quite enjoying her predicament. No Ram stop, please she cried out and laughed
at the same time, while trying desperately to get out of the hold he had her in,
you are so mean she pouted pretending to be cross at him.
In one easy
flip he had her toppled on him and with enough coaxing he turned their love
play back into a gentle one, her head found its resting place against his chest,
the loud beat of his heart seemed to match her own and entwining their fingers
together they gazed out watching the channeling of the lagoon set within the lush
greenery of the beautifully manicured garden, it was a magnificent view from
their room which was shielded by the window.
A morning like this was heavenly as they enjoyed embracing their glorious
time together, for every moment spent was a sure blessing. With much difficulty Priya finally found some
energy to move her body, Ram I’m going
to have a shower, he moaned at the separation for he could quite comfortably
lay like this here the entire day, moving a strand of hair away from her face
he asked her, what’s the hurry? With a cheerful
smile she said Ram please let’s not waste today, let’s enjoy the day outside;
in fact let’s go to the beach. Amused by
her eagerness, he said anything for you my love, oh good she exclaimed, and
gripped his face firmly in between the palms of her hands and dropped a kissed
on his lips and then woke up from her comfortable spot beside him.
As she walked
away his eyes were drawn to her back, hooked especially to the way the silk gown
molded on her curvaceous body as she moved; suddenly she stopped and picked up her hair clasp
lying on the floor and then securely fastened the weight of her thick hair. A racy idea seemed to form in her naughty
thoughts and so very slowly she untied the knot of her silk belt, biting at the
bottom of her lip she slightly turned to look at him giving him the eye she
asked, are you coming? Just now he said,
oh ok then she replied and deliberately let the silk fall on the floor while
standing there comfortably naked, he almost choked at her blatant seduction and
satisfied that she had achieved her aim she said, oh well then I won’t lock the
door, deliberately she let the words linger as she walked into the luxury of
the bathroom, leaving Ram dazed by the sway of her hips and her shapely ass.
Inside the bathroom Priya headed straight for
the shower, she set the dial to a perfect water temperature and as she stepped
in, the instant warmth of the spray hit against her skin, she faced her back to
the door and gently lathered the foamy shower wash in her hands. Suddenly there
was the swish of the shower door opening, she did not turn around as the naked and
very strong presence of Ram stepped right behind her, you witch, he exclaimed
in her ear as he pulled her up against him.
She giggled, am I truly a witch she innocently asked, wrapping his arms
lower around her abdomen he tenderly bit on her earlobe, yes you are, and turning
within the embrace to fully face him her eyes dazzled with enough delight, he
said again, yes you are, you are a witch as he backed her up against the wall,
you are my witch, his black eyes was just as sinfully riveted to her. There was so much passion in here that she
felt alive with wanting and in the seductiveness of the moment, she looked into
his eyes and the reflection that she saw in them jolted her with an intense
desire for him, you are all mine he affirmed as he kissed her deeply and earnestly
wanting to eat her alive, they twisted and turned with so much need for each
other, as their lips sealed like glue while their hands did the exploring of each
other under the spray of the shower. In
the rawness of their sexuality, she wrapped her legs around his waist as he lifted
and fully supported her using his strong firm hands. His hardened length knew instantly where to
find its treasured jewel, fitting intimately with ease as there was a yearning need
to stretch the core of her with a sweet deep invasion in pure carnal lust.
From the
intense heat that poured, her eyes rolled back overwhelmed by the pleasurable
feelings he inflicted on her, her hands gripped him as he fully thrust himself into her, whispering against her mouth feel what you do to me, I go crazy
enough wanting you and then you go fuck me up some more with your witchery, he
breathed against her neck. In shallow
breathing she asked, are you complaining?
Never he immediately responded, never he said again as he grew so much
bigger with each stroke deep inside his precious jewel, it stirred in her an urgency of which he
possessed her with, that he could love her like this till they both felt numb from
all of their need for each other. With
her back rubbing against the tiled wall and the water cascading on them, he
pumped his heart and soul into her while she held on to him for dear life,
moaning and groaning at the many sensations they were creating within each
other. You make me feel things that I
can’t even explain she whimpered. You
do that to every time he said, breathing hard to talk he spoke yes baby, that’s

touched at the part of her to show her how far he wanted to go. She could not hold up with his explicit talks
and moves, now this, she felt faint with the thought of all that he was doing

gritted his teeth in his passion as her nails clawed his back and her teeth
sunk into his shoulders. He knew how to
use his words and moves and then to ease her with acceptance of his way for he
owned and commanded her. She was
delirious from all that intensity he invoked and shattered within her a burst of
spillage surging with a speed that rocked the very earth of their existence,
Rammmm, she cried out loud his name, as her own passions overflowed.
Seconds felt
like minutes as they stood unmoving, oh dear god in heaven, how do they have
the strength to do this every time as he spoke against the pumping heart beats,
she limply dropped her leg from around his waist and he had to hold her steady,
or she would have crumpled on the floor, for her legs felt weak like jelly. Clinging on to him for dear life she said to
him, you kill me every time, and he replied baby not before you kill me first,
their racing hearts needed desperately to calm down and pressing their foreheads
against the other, they stood under the fall of the water as they reached a
steady level of control, for this was what their love making was all about
intense and deep. Once their bodies had
found its way to a level of normal functioning, they began to lather the other
as they began the ritual of washing down each other. Ten minutes later Priya sauntered out of the
shower, reaching for a freshly clean towel she then passed one to Ram, thank
you baby he said as they lovingly smiled at each other and then wiped
themselves dry, once done she made her
way out of the bathroom into the bedroom while Ram headed for the steamed
mirror.
Going straight
to the cupboard with her neatly packed clothing in it, she thought of what to wear and
then decided on wearing a lightweight cotton dress ending slightly above her
knee, underneath it she donned on a full piece swim suit that fitted her snugly. Wanting to save her the time and the bother of
coming back to change after breakfast she decided to be clever by using the
swimsuit under her strapless dress. She
was standing in front of the mirror drying out the wet ends of her hair when
she heard the phone ring, by its ringtone; she realized it was Rams phone. Ram
she called out to him loudly, it’s your phone she said, and he replied back answer
it baby. Ok she said, as she picked up the
phone and pressed the call button, the voice did not even give her a chance to
say hello, as it rushed on with so much excitement. Never in a million years
did Priya expect to hear this voice on Ram’s phone. Ram you are such a darling I cannot believe
what a stunning gift you sent me, oh my god I am still in awe of the diamond
necklace, it’s beautiful Ram and how like you to know exactly what suits me
best, I love it darling thank you so much she continued to gush on. Shock washed across Priya’s face as she
struggled to listen on, at the same time Ram walked into the room wearing the
towel knotted around his waist, his hair was still wet as he dabbed on
aftershave on his clean shaven face looking adorably cute.
Grinning he
asked her, who’s on the phone baby? And all Priya could do was look at him totally
numb for she stood frozen to the spot, while the voice on the phone continued
in an excited hype. With a need to
almost be sick Priya said to Ram here take it and in between him reaching for
the phone and she trying to get rid of it fast enough, it almost fell to the
ground but luckily Ram caught the phone in time and Priya walked away trying to
breathe, or she would have slapped his lying face. She could hear bits and pieces of his side
of the conversation, no my wife answered he replied, its ok he said eyeing
Priya, yes thanks and you welcome. Priya
tried to ignore what she was hearing going about to complete dressing and then
she slipped on her flat sandals, yes he said again, thanks for the call but I
really do have to go now, ok goodbye and he ended the call.
Priya he called
out to her, she refused to look at him, baby aren’t you going to tell me how
handsome I’m looking he stroked his chin hoping to charm her endlessly. Exasperated by the call and with dangerous
intentions brewing in her crazy mind, she was in no mood to drool over his
handsome face for she was going to kill him.
Turning on him she said, how dare you Ram how dare you do this? He stayed quiet and she went on, you bought
her a diamond necklace, even after you knew how I feel about her. She was speechless with no more words to even
express her hurt as she sat on the edge of the bed taking in this feeling of
betrayal. A devastating call it was, a
call from Kiran Trivedi that shattered Priya completely, this was the woman
that Ram had contracted to redesign the offices of Kapoor Industries
headquarters, and Priya could not stand the sight of her after seeing her for
the very first time when she happened to stop by the offices with Ram a few
weeks ago. Priya remembered what a massive
fight she had with Ram because of this woman because all of her womanly
instincts told her Kiran Trivedi was bad news, she was after her man.
Ram sat
beside her on the bed, baby it’s not what you thinking. Priya went straight in for the attack
pointing her finger at him, what am I thinking she shouted at him, do you even
understand how I feel about her? Not
stopping she continued on, what does she mean to you Ram because you do not buy
a diamond necklace for somebody just because you felt like it so she must truly
mean something to you? Priya was hurt beyond
words and not wanting to face this truth she asked, tell me do you have
feelings for her? Ram was flabbergasted Priya
how can you ask me this question, you know she means nothing to me, how can you
even think like this? Crying out with
anger, well what am I suppose to think she yelled at him when she calls you up
gushing all over a diamond necklace that you gifted her. It’s not like that baby he tried to calm her
down, then what is it like she demanded to know, you went on a business trip yet
you found time to think about sending her a gift, I don’t believe this Ram how
could you do this to me? For god sake
baby I did not do anything he tried to hold her hand to convince her, and
abruptly she jerked him off and got up to move away from him, he tried to
follow her around the room hoping to pacify her, but things did not work out
like that, for she never gave him the chance to speak which only just
aggravated the situation.
Priya stop it,
just stop this ok I hate it when you do this, she stared at him, her eyes with
enough anger to show her wrath, no she shouted at him why must I stop it so
that you can continue to hide the truth even more? What rubbish he raised his voice in annoyance,
not rubbish Ram it’s what’s really happening here. Smacking both his hands against his head, his
temper flaring, for god sake will you just listen to what I have to say? lifting her eyebrow at his high handedness, her
stubborn stance seem to offset him further when she told him off, “don’t you
dare shout at me” and he raised his voice even more I am not shouting at you damn
it. Not wanting to back down, she yelled
at him too, so then what are you doing? Furiously
standing, with hands against her hips she resembled that of a warrior woman that
she was, ready to slay him alive. I’m trying to bloody reason with you he fumed
at her wayward thoughts, her position changed as she folded her arms, with
enough arrogance she said, “so what, so that I can give you the benefit of finding
your sneaky way out of this one too, no way, firmly pointing her finger at him,
no way Ram, I am no damn fool ok?
Ram had
enough and shouted at her we just fucked each other like mad in the shower
right now and spent the whole night making love, how can you even think of me
having anything to do with that woman or any other woman? Point made, then there was silence and a
grating tension emanating inside the room , but Priya was not ready to hear
anymore of this, so she turned and walked out on him leaving him exasperated by
her abruptness, he yelled at her, Priya get back here we not finished with this
I am still talking to you. Her voice
coming from the outer room well I am done talking to you and moreover I really don’t
care what you have to say. The next
moment he heard the sound of the front door slam shut the noise shrilly
reaching him like a damning headache. Gritting
his teeth and in pure frustration of this woman from hell “his woman” he
clenched his fist, cursing out loudly, for fuck sake he swore rapidly as he very
quickly tried to adjust the loose fluffy white towel slipping from around his
waist.
Priya made
her way to breakfast with the rest of the family, by the time she approached
the boisterous table she had to reign in her boiling temper and her entire
persona changed to that of the loving caring person that she was. Seeing an empty seat next to her brother she
joined in, Morning everyone and they all greeted her in return, Nutz the ever
observant one asked her, where is bhai?
Priya casually said oh well he must be on his way here, changing the
topic she conversed in general with everyone as they spoke about the awesome
evening and continued to tease Apeksha and Nikhil endlessly. Priya was biting on a slice of toast when Ram
appeared wearing cargo shorts and a polo t shirt, everyone was surprised and
whistled at his clean shaven look he laughed off their silly comments. Seeing his madam it annoyed him that she
very conveniently sat next to her brother which left him to sit away from her
at the head of the table. She refused to
look at him, and seemed to be enjoying her many conversations with everyone
else leaving Ram silently miffed with her.
Karthik have you tried some of the melon she asked, breaking off a succulent
piece on her plate with her fork, oh no Di please I’m stuffed I just can’t ,
come on how can you resist, this was your favorite and its so sweet and juicy
you have a try just a little piece she lifted it up for him to taste, no Di he
squealed please I can’t, giving him her
charming big sister look she said please for me and he knew he was caught, while Ram never missed what was going down the
table where she sat as he pretended not to notice much.
As they
continued with breakfast a decision was made to spend the rest of the day
sightseeing which Priya very quickly agreed to because it meant she did not need
to spend time alone with Ram, she was
seriously mad at him and he better stay away from me she thought to herself. Ram on the other hand, had to contend with a
diamond necklace screwing up his life, he had no choice but to go along with
everyone else’s idea of spending the day sightseeing, ideally he wished for the
rest of them to disappear so that he could have it out with Priya, but only a
half hour later, they all ended up traveling in two black Mercedes ML400 along
the Goa coastline. Ram drove one of the super luxurious SUV while Vikram drove
the other, as they were discreetly followed by bodyguards to ensure their
entourage was safe at all times. Priya
sat in the back seat with Apeksha while Nikhil in the front with Ram, privately
there was so much tension between Ram and Priya that they seem to hide their
emotions very well from the others, or maybe the other’s were so caught in
their own enjoyment that they missed the
seriousness of the silence between the two.
Down at the
water’s edge Neha and Priya stood, as the shallow waves foamed gently around their feet and drew back at it's own leisurely pace into the ocean. You know Priya this weekend has really meant so much for both Vikram and myself, it's rejuvenated our
relationship to some extent. She sounded somber, deep in thought as she continued to speak, to be honest I
was at a breaking point in my life and coming here has put things into some sort of perspective for me. Curious Priya asked
her what things Neha? Well I think I was at a
cross roads in my life fighting my reasons for being who I am, was I only meant
to be a wife and a mother and after spending all those years studying and
completing a well earned degree myself, could I have not put that to better
use. There was a frown on Neha’s forehead with this questioning of herself, and
then she turned and faced Priya, there was an acceptance of contentment that glowed on her face. With a smile she said, I have realized Priya my life
is all about being the best wife to my husband and being the best mother to my
children sure I know I have my flaws but you know what, nothing in the world
matters more to me than Vikram and the children, they are my world and I exist to
enrich their life’s giving them all the love and care that I can possibly give them, I cannot fight
my destiny Priya because at the end of the day I need them just has much as they need me so that I can exist to be the Neha that I am. I think I have made that peace with myself.
Priya had a warm smile listening to Neha speak, touching her hand she said I always told you that you were your own worst
enemy and I am so glad that you have found that peace that you were battling with for so long because at the end of the day the most important thing Neha is for your own piece of
mind. I know Priya I know, actually you know I have you to thank for it. Priya was surprised by this and said there is no thank you between
friends I did nothing, you were there
Priya when I needed you the most when everything felt like it was falling apart
for me. Priya felt teary eyed and
replied back and you were there for me when I needed you most that’s what friends
are there for, actually no let me correct myself that’s what sister’s are there
for that’s what you are to me Neha, They both hugged each other and with a
sniffle Neha said you know what, I think I am missing my children a lot I am going to give them a call, are you coming up? Priya said no you carry on I’m enjoying being here for now, Ok then I will see you shortly and she turned
to walk away back to where most of the family where, leaving Priya contemplating her own thoughts alone here by
the water’s edge.
The water was cool as she stood alone in the ankle deep water, bending down she spotted a few sea shells
which seem to intrigue her with it's unique shapes and colors. She tried to dig them out of the wet sand before
the shallow waves reached it again while her mind was unsettled with trying to be normal, because she was more than upset she was livid and needed time away from everyone else, especially Ram. She had not spoken to him since the blow out in their room, in fact she did very
well to avoid him for all she wanted to do was to vent out her hurt and anger at him
for being so damn deceitful. Did he really have feelings for that woman, she questioned in her mind as a shadow of doubt crossed through it. Trying to shake off the
looming thought, she stood up and turned around but ended up crashing right into Ram
who was silently standing behind her, where did he come from so suddenly she thought miserably to herself because he was the one person who really needed
to stay away from her. Holding her firmly
steady their eyes clashed and then he spoke, how long are you going to continue
this silence he asked her?
With her anger already resurfaced she said, Forever, and tried to remove her arm from his hold but he did not let go, I want to talk to you he said and she said how
about you go talk to the one you bought a diamond necklace for I am sure she
must be dying to speak to her darling. Priya stop this I am not her darling or her
anything else, oh really she said as she gave him her scornful look. Look Priya I am really sorry ok I did not mean for
this to happen. Trying desperately to remove his hand away from her
she said I do not want to listen to what you have to say so just leave me alone. No way Priya I am not letting
you go until you hear me out because all you have done is throw accusations at me without giving me a chance to explain. Explain what she asked, explain the fact that
you have feelings for someone else she questioned? Are you absolutely mad he
sounded horrified at her thoughts and gripping her arm tightly he lifted her off her feet so that their noses where actually touching each other, they did not even realized
how further into the water they where standing, I am warning you Priya if you do not hear me out I swear I will drown us right now and like the spit fire that she was, she replied back to his threat totally unaffected by it, "go drown yourself she shouted
at him but just stay the hell away from me because you make me sick".
