Ram was on his phone speaking to his mother, Krishna Kapoor. She was currently in Australia representing the Kapoor family in attending the wedding of a very close relative of theirs. Ma when are you coming back home, I miss you. Ram Beta, I miss you to my child. Well then, I think if that’s the case, you should be home soon besides I thought the wedding should be over by now. off course Beta, but you know how the family is, they are just not giving me a break to do anything but I’m leaving tomorrow so that I will be home for Natasha’s fashion show , I can’t miss my babies big event.

Ok Ma, well then I’m glad to hear that. I have to go into a meeting and I will speak to you again later. Bye Ma and miss you lots. Ram was just about to enter the boardroom for his next meeting when his phone rang, he looked at the number displayed on the screen and couldn’t help smiling he had to take this call Hello My Darling, he said Bhai, I am missing you so much. Ram smiled, so then why are you not home yet. Well bhai some problems cropped up, so we had to stay on for further meetings but we wrapping up now I’m leaving tomorrow and I’ll be home by the evening. Well I’m very glad to hear that, besides Natasha’s fashion show is on Friday.

Don’t’ tell me Bhai ,that’s all she speaks about anyway she threatened me about what would happen to me if I didn’t make it on time they both laughed at their little sister's antics. I love you Bhai she said suddenly, it touched his heart with warmth and pride for his sister Apeksha. She worked in advertising, currently she was in Dubai attending meetings. She was highly regarded in her field and she never asked for any favours from him, whatever she achieved was through her own strength.

In fact in her business world she didn’t take on the Kapoor surname but opted to be called Apeksha Malhotra using their mothers maiden name.

Oh but he just loved his family, The Kapoor Family Unit was now finally complete with the missing links making their way back home in time for Natasha Kapoor’s fashion show being showcased at the Mumbai Fashion week on Friday evening this week. On Thursday, Kapoor Mansion was at its element every member of the family at home having dinner together. Ram seated at the head of the table, Priya to his right side. He beamed with pride looking down at all his loved ones. It was such a beautiful moment to hold onto.

Oh there was so much to be told and heard, looked like it was to be a long interesting night. Natasha and Karthik decided to leave early that night and she said to Ram, Bhai I want all my handsome men in their black tuxedo’s tomorrow.

Ram looked at her smiling and asked, demanding little thing you are, Are’nt you?

She goes up to him and kissed him on his cheek and said that’s because you spoilt me rotten and she smiled at him, he took her cheeks into a gentle pinch and pulled her back into a hug. All the best for tomorrow Nutz. I am so proud of you, he said.

Natasha still embraced in Ram’s hug looked at Priya and smiled at her. Priya turned away and went to check on Dadi. While the rest of family continued their talking.

Later on, in the early hours of the morning, in the master bedroom. Both husband and wife were asleep. Suddenly Priya woke up in a jerk and screamed. Ram got up with a fright and looked at his wife who was shaking like a leaf, tears running down her face.

Baby what’s wrong he looked at her worriedly and pulled her into his arms while she just sobbed on his chest. Ram soothed her down giving her some water to drink and said to her do you want to tell me about your bad dream she shook her head and said no, I don’t remember. I just remember being very scared.

He said to her, it’s ok baby I’m here nothing will ever harm you, I’m here he whispers in her ear. She looked at him with her tear stained eyes and said please make love to me, just fill me up only with your love. He took her, rolling her beneath him and continued to make sweet love to his wife. Wiping away all the bad memories from her, she was totally enthralled by his passion clinging onto him for dear life and not wanting a moment to separate them.

It was Friday, good morning Mumbai! get ready for this rollercoaster ride, for something was about to unfold that was going to be massive. Both Priya and Ram were in their dressing room getting ready for their day. Ram had his tie around his neck and was just about to make the tie knot when he stilled and looked at his wife.

Was she really ok? Something just didn’t feel right about her. He walked up to her and lifted her face to his and peers into her eyes, why do I sense that you not ok.

She smiled at him, just because I had a stupid bad dream you automatically reading too much into it, I’m fine baby seriously. She pulled onto the sides of his tie and began to tie the knot while he put his hands around her waist pulling her closer to him, I love you Mrs K and I love you Mr K, they both smiled at each other and he dropped a kiss on her lips. He then said to her, I’m sorry baby but I won’t be able to come with you to the show this evening. I will meet you there. I have a late meeting that I just could not get out off, so if you can please send my tuxedo to the office later this afternoon, I will freshen up and change there.

Are you upset with me, he asks? she shooks her head and said no why would I be upset, I know you have important work so it’s ok I’ll meet you there and smiled at him. I’m going to miss you until then he said, I miss you already she said.

Later on in the day, ram was in his office busy managing Kapoor Industries. Priya was in their room packing a bag, she had made arrangements for Ram’s tuxedo to be delivered to him now she was packing what she would need.

Once she completed her packing, she picked up her bag and walked towards the room door she turns slightly, giving one last glance around the room.

Her eyes capturing the black and white pictured frame that hung above their bed.

She smiled at the moment and then reality kicked in, she turned and walked out the door, out of Kapoor Mansion.
