With Mumbai’s constant changing weather patterns the sun sneaked in, while dull clouds moved in covering the sun’s rays. So we heading for a cat and mouse game today each trying to get the better of each other with the sun and its bright rays coming to light to overpower the dullness pushing the clouds away but the clouds were adamant they shall conquer this day and banish the sun. The green room at Kapoor Mansion was by far the most entertaining room in the mansion oh did the walls have ears to listen and oh did they blush from the heat of the lovers nights and explosive days.

While still soundly asleep Ram’s head lay cushioned on his wife’s breast. His body all over her while she held him close to her.
His phone rang in the background, the noise jarring them awake from a blissful state of sleep. Opening his one eye he tried to register the sound but was too dazed to even attempt to answer. Priya stirred in her sleep, her body moving, her eyes opened to the feel of her husband on her, Ram picked up his head.

Who was what? He asked her with a confused look
Your phone, she said
Oh I didn’t answer it’s probably gone to voice mail
Ok, she said well I guess it is time to wake up. She yawned covering her mouth with her hand.

She tried to move her body and he held her back, not yet he said. I need to and he didn’t complete the sentence just lowered his mouth to her breast and kissed on her tender flesh his lips moved to her darkened areola his tongue tracing its darkened outline. And like that they both drifted off into a few more minutes of lazed sleep. They woke up and had their morning shower, dressed for the day and went down to breakfast.

At breakfast, Priya served Ram his favorite aloo ka paratha and sat down to have her light meal while the family got on with their easy chit chat for the morning.
Rishab was reading the morning paper while munching on his cereal wow he said bhai, bhabhi you both looking really good together.
Priya looked at him questioningly, why Rishab what’s with the early morning flattery?
Rishab laughed but bhabhi no flattery needed from me, it’s all in the paper both of you at Singhania party last night, there’s another picture of you with this guy bhabhi in fact he seemed like the same guy that you were with the other day.

Priya looked at Ram unsure what to say, she could see his mood already changing and to stop Rishab from baggering her with more questions she said

Nikhil Advani, hmmmmmm Rishab thought but bhabhi why does that name sound familiar, I’ve heard it before and then he thought some more and it clicked oh yes he was the one that sent you those flowers to you a while back.
Priya thought if the earth could please just open up and swallow me up now.

Ram’s face was boiling with anger he tried to forget everything and just one word this morning from Rishab and he was pissed off all over again.
Excusing himself from the table he said I’m going into the office,

What Rishab? Ram asked him a bit too sternly
No nothing I just wondered what happened to your car, the wind screen is smashed.
Ram looked at Priya his eyes eating into her
Then too Rishab he said that's what happens when hell cats are around and he stormed off

Leaving a choking Priya to recover from her fits of coughing after her drink of tea went down the wrong passage
Krishnaji quickly woke up and went to her, tapping her back and said you ok beta
Yes ma I’m fine now and she smiled at her mother-in law to reassure her but her insides felt like

Ram was sitting in his Jaguar driving to the office missing his most favorite car from his private collection his black BMW all thanks to his wife for smashing the windscreen with a brick last night.
He was at a stop sign and remembered to check his miss calls, taking his phone out he found the very first miss call and dialed the number it was his highest priority.
The call was answered, Sushil, Ram here meet me in my office I’m on my way there and he cut the call.

On the other hand Priya was in her room and just about to leave to go visit her parents when her phone rang, she looked at the unknown number displaying on her screen answering the call she said hello
There was silence on the other end and the voice said,
Hello Priya its Nikhil
Oh hi Nikhil,
She hesitantly asked, how are you?
I’m fine Priya I was worried about you last night
I’m ok Nikhil seriously nothing to worry about.
Priya please can we meet, I need to speak to you
Nikhil, I wish I could but under the circumstances I think its best that we don’t meet.
Priya please don’t say no I really need to speak to you please, for the sake of our onetime friendship please I have to speak to you.
Ok Nikhil, but I can’t be long, Ram is not going to like this one bit and I feel bad to do this when I know how he feels
Please priya just trust me, can we meet in about an hour, at our old hangout the little cafe next to our college.
Ok, but I can’t stay for long, I’m just worried that I’ll have a photographer following me and lord knows what they going to come up with.

Priya walked out of Kapoor Mansion with a nervous knot in her stomach she was disobeying her husband and if he found out she was going to be dead meat.

Sushil Verma was Ram Kapoor’s private investigator he trusted him with his most delicate jobs and every time he came through with the information that he needed.
He entered Ram’s office with a folder in hand
Good Morning Sir, I’ve got some information for you

Right now Nikhil Advani is on a leave of absence from his law firm citing personal reasons
What personal reason’s Ram asked?
Well Sir I think there might be a love interest involved here.
Ram was not impressed

Well sir, I don’t know how to tell you this but right now he’s meeting your wife at a local café
What the fuck? Ram woke up with such force that his chair fell

He’s meeting your wife at their old college hang out.
I will fucking kill the bastard I swear today he’s a dead man for sure

Sushil looked a bit hesitant

Ram took it and walked out the office a raging bull.

On his way to the car he tried to call Priya her phone was switched off.
He called the house and was told she had left about an hour ago to go visit her parents.
He called her parents house and they were surprised to hear him and he just casually asked if Priya had arrived to visit them and was told no she hadn’t come to visit.
Ram went ballistic, he banged his hand on the steering wheel, How could you Priya, How could you do this.
Damn you he screamed, damn you for doing this to me.
And he drove off like a crazy mad man.

On the other side of the city in a middle class neighbhour hood Priya sat secluded inside a café with Nikhil Advani sitting across her.
Priya thank you so much for agreeing to see me, it’s so good being here again it’s like this place hasn’t changed yet we all have moved on in our lives
Yes you so right Nikhil everything is just the same and she smiled thinking back to the many hours they use to spend right here.
Do you ever see Ashwin and Shruti?
Well they moved away a few years ago to Bangalore, Ashwin got a job with an IT company so they decided to pack up and move there permanently, I’ve been in touch with Shruti both of them are doing well and they even have a little boy I’m so happy for them. They just so in love with each other just like they were in college.

Nikhil said I’m so happy for them and even you Priya, you just amazing and I know that your husband loves you so much.
She blushed and said yes he does, I’m lucky to have him in my life.
Priya congratulations I heard you pregnant, she beamed with delight yes, we four and half months pregnant and we really looking forward to this baby.
Well I know you will make a wonderful mother

Priya I’m sad that through the years our friendship got sidelined I guess it’s all my fault but I’ve always thought about you and wondered what you were doing in your life and I’m just so happy that my best friend is so happy.
She looked at him lovingly and said Nihkil and I’m so proud of what you’ve become and accomplished too.
He took her hands in his and said, Priya that really means so much to me thank you.
Priya couldn’t help notice the bruising on his face, Nikhil I’m so sorry that my husband hit you I’m not even sure what drove him to this.

No Priya, it’s ok let me tell you what happened, well I went to his office to speak to him about something that’s really important to me and I said to him, you have something of mine that I want and that’s when he lost it completely but that’s ok because I think I would off too in his place.
Priya looked at him confused but Nikhil what does he have of yours?
Holding her hands in his he said Priya I’m in love, and right then his phone rang
Sorry Priya I need to take this call, it’s that important part of my life
Sure go ahead she said.
He woke up and went outside.

Priya was sitting aimlessly wondering about Nikhil she was so happy for him that he was in love she was so eager to find out who the lucky girl was. She turned her head to the entrance of the door and in complete state of shock right before her, her raging bull stood glaring at her, his eyes pierced through her, his hands clenched to his sides. And when she looked further beyond her man, her jaw dropped open at the vision she saw behind her husband.

Her best friend Nikhil Advani was walking in with a beautiful young woman beside him they both had the biggest smiles on their faces looking lovingly at each other,
The young woman was so engrossed in the love of her life that she didn’t see where she was walking and crashed right into the broad back of Ram Kapoor

Oops I’m so sorry she said, he turned around and she lifted her head and they froze in silence.
Bhai, she said openly shocked.
Ram looked just as shocked, Darling what are you doing here?
And then he saw who was besides her and everything stopped, he closed his eyes, his hands went to his temple the room spun around in all directions, sweat dripping down from his forehead, he couldn’t breathe.

Priya sensed a panic within her and she rushed to him and held him around his waist, Ram please sit down she said and Nikhil quickly grabbed a chair and they urged him to sit down.
Quickly getting some water Priya said drink this please, he wasn’t registering a word she spoke
Ram she shook him please baby please just drink this and she put the glass to his lips and urged him to drink the water.
With her scarf from around her neck she wiped his forehead and held him close to her, he wrapped his arms around her waist.
Baby what’s going on he whispered
Shhhhhhh she said its going to be ok, trust me it’s going to be ok.
Apeksha and Nikhil are in love with each other.
