Chapter Twenty Three
From the walls of Kapoor Mansion to the Sharma residence there was a sense of excitement in the air, something special was so near.
Priya was all dressed up sitting on the edge of her hospital bed, she was eager to finally be home she missed her family so much. They were relieved and happy that Priya was fine and throughout yesterday all her families came to visit bearing gifts.
Looking around the room she felt like she was in a florist shop rather than being in a hospital. It was quite evident the Priya was adored by her family.
She was surrounded by beautiful arrangements of flowers from her well wishers, half of it was off course from her husband. She smiled just thinking about him. He never left her side and it was only through her insistence that he went home to sleep and shower during the last two nights of her awaking from her coma state.
But right now she was tired of being here the doctors had insisted that she be kept under observation and she had to go through a bit more testing for routine checkup. Yesterday the doctor had promised her that if all was clear from her tests then she was perfectly fine to go home.
So today here she was patiently waiting for her discharge from hospital and for her husband to come fetch her and take her home.
While she was in hospital she did spend lots of time with her father catching up on everything, it was such an awesome feeling knowing he was on a full recovery. She did off course tell him the truth with what had happened to her.
At first he was upset that he was lied too but she calmed him down and finally he accepted that his most beloved child was perfectly fit and healthy.
Now this is the sight that I want to see forever, lifting up her head she looked up and smiled at the voice of her husband as he walked into the room.
Really, she said her face lightening up to her handsome husband, her heart melted even at a glance of him, just a smile, just a touch she was completely smitten by him.
Yes really, coming close to her wearing the biggest grin on his face and a penny for your thought madam he said and bent his head and kissed her she wrapped her arms around his neck as he held on to her
I missed my girl so much, I can’t wait to have you back home and back in our bed and after this I think baby we both need some alone time, maybe a holiday together.
Oh my god Mr Kapoor you actually want to go on a holiday, lightly touching her forehead I think I’m must be dreaming or I am hearing things for sure , she laughed at him

Two doctors, one male and the other female walked into the room together and smiled at each other seeing the close bond of this husband and wife who had a fan following of every single staff member at this hospital. All that could be heard over the past few days was talk of the Kapoor’s.
Clearing his voice the doctor said, Good morning Mr & Mrs Kapoor. Ram lifted his head and looked at the Doctor good morning he said to them
While Priya was slightly embarrassed at the view the doctors walked in to.
So Mrs Kapoor I see you all ready to go home the doctor smiled at her and she said oh yes Doctor I can’t wait to be home.
Well Mrs Kapoor from my side you are perfectly fine to be discharged today like I said your blood count is just a bit a low which we need to watch for but otherwise you are perfectly fit and healthy and all your other tests have come through clear so there is no reason for any concern.
Thank you Doctor she said that really means so much to both of us, both Ram and Priya breathed a sigh of relief.
The doctor said I’d like to introduce you to Dr Anuradha Mehta, she is one of the best doctors in her field.
Both husband and wife looked at the female doctor and smiled at her it’s a pleasure to meet you doctor
Likewise the pleasure is all mine, she said to the both of them.
Smiling at the couple well Mr & Mrs Kapoor we’ve got some very important special news to share with you and we wanted to do this when we were sure that everything was perfectly clear and fine from all the test results done so far.
Of course it’s also a moment that we needed the both of you to be together so that we can tell you at the same time.

I would like to see the both of you in about two days from now so that we can have the first fetal ultra sound done. My nurse will call you and set up the appointment, so I will see you there she smiled at them.
While the other doctor said, so Mrs Kapoor I’m happy to say that you are now officially discharged from hospital and congratulations once again to the both of you from all of us here at the hospital.
The doctors left the room, Ram and Priya were on cloud nine absorbing the most important life changing news for them.
Baby, he said, I just can’t believe this. We are going to become parents.
This is the best news of my life, god I’m so happy he said
She smiled at her husband the tears of joy still flowing down she went to him settling on his lap as he hugged her to him
His tears were gently rolling down his eyes and with an emotional choked voice he said thank you baby for making me the happiest man in the whole wide world today
Holding his hand over her stomach he gently caressed her stomach you have the most precious gift of our lives right here, we are so blessed I am so blessed to have you in my life.
Their eyes showed their emotions of wonderment.

She leaned into him her hands going around his neck as he took her lips against his and sealed their love with a kiss. He urged open her mouth while slipping his tongue into hers. Their kissed deepened with the intensity of the moment their tongues rolled on into a continued mating as their tears mixed together forming an overjoyed emotion.
Breaking apart their breathing slightly heavy he said again, I love you and he hugged her tightly breathing into the side of her neck.
While the gods and angels looked down with smiles across their faces at their most special couple, and somewhere in heaven the father and grandfather of Ram Kapoor hugged and danced in excitement of the new Kapoor heir taking form.
What a beautiful day this turned out to be, this news was going to be the biggest news to hit both the Kapoor and Sharma families and at this moment everybody needed something to celebrate and what a celebration it was sure to be.
